A unique program titled “Heiancho Relaxing Holiday” has been announced. In it, ten characters from the NHK Taiga drama “Hikaru Kimi e” (Sundays 8:00 pm), starring actress Yoshitaka Yuriko (36), will be made into animated characters and appear all at once on NHK Educational TV’s popular long-running program “Ojarumaru.”

The program will air on October 19th (4:35 pm-5:00 pm) and culminate in the unusual yearly collaboration between the two shows, set in the Heian period. Yoshitaka and the others will participate in the dubbing recording of their original roles from “Hikaru Kimi e,” providing their voice acting. First Summer Uika (34), who plays Kikyou/Sei Shonagon, was thrilled, saying, “This is a dream collaboration that has come true! All the characters look so lifelike that I was so excited, I got goosebumps.” Fairouz Ai (31), who plays Osei Shonagon in “Ojarumaru,” said, “I felt close to (Uika), so I was thrilled to be able to work with her during this dubbing session!” She expressed her joy at “meeting Sei Shonagon face to face.” The unique year-long collaboration between the Taiga drama and anime was announced last December. It has been carried out in various forms.

In episode 34 of “Hikaru Kimi e” (September 8th), voice actress Nishimura Chinami, who voices the protagonist Sakanoue Ojarumaru in “Ojarumaru,” made her first Taiga appearance and a surprise appearance without prior notice as the wife “Chikuzen no Myobu.” This caused a massive reaction on social media. This collaboration special is the reverse version.

The ten main characters of “To You Who Shines,” Mahiro (Yuriko Yoshitaka), Fujiwara no Michinaga (Tasuku Emoto), Fujiwara no Kinto (Keita Machida), Fujiwara no Sanesuke ( Ryuji Akiyama ), Fujiwara no Yukinari (Daichi Watanabe), Kikyou (First Summer Uika), Fujiwara no Masanobu (Tetsu Kaneda), Otsumaru (Taro Yabe), Mozuhiko (Riki Honda), and Abe no Seimei (Yusuke Santamaria), get lost in Heiancho, the hometown of “Ojarumaru”, and get into some hectic fun.

“To You Who Shines” is the 63rd Taiga drama with an original script by Oishi, a “master of love stories” who continues to create masterpieces such as “Futariikko,” “Second Virgin,” and “Great Love—With You Who Forgets Me.” It depicts the turbulent life of Murasaki Shikibu, a female writer who spun the best-selling “The Tale of Genji,” which has been around for over a thousand years.

This is Oishi’s second Taiga drama script since “Koumei ga Tsuji” in 2006. This is Yoshitaka’s second time appearing in a taiga drama since “Atsuhime” in 2008 and her first leading role. “Ojarumaru” began in 1998. Sakanoue Ojarumaru, the son of a fairy aristocrat who lived in Heiancho 1000 years ago, gets lost in modern-day Gekkou Town and encounters Kazuma, an elementary school student. Amusing events unfold.

The 27th series began in April this year. “Ojarumaru” Director Daichi Heitaro, Everyone from the taiga drama “To You Who Shines” has gotten lost in the Heiancho of the anime “Ojarumaru.” I tried saying it in a Denbo style. What will happen when Kikyo, Otomaru, Mozuhiko, Kinto, Sadanobu, Yukinari, Sanesuke, and Seimei meet Ojarumaru, Denbo, and the other little demon trio? No, nothing happens. Everyone, enjoy Heiancho… it’s a relaxing time. Oh, let me tell you one highlight. Abe no Seimei will be united with the trio of little demons.

This is going to be a big deal. Of course, the two main characters will also be appearing. I look forward to it. “Ojarumaru” – Fairouz Ai, the voice of Sei Shonagon. I’ve always loved First Summer Uika’s fashion and mindset, and I felt a one-sided affinity with her because we both play Sei Shonagon and have similar names, so I was thrilled to be able to work together through this dubbing! We couldn’t stop talking between recordings, which was an enjoyable time. Commonly, Sei Shonagon is often called a demon, but this time, you’ll see a side of her that you don’t usually see, such as having fun girl talk, so please look forward to it! “To You Who Shines” First Summer Uika, the voice of Kikyo/Sei Shonagon A dream collaboration has come true! All the characters looked so lifelike that I was so excited I got goosebumps. I have voiced Ojarumaru before, but dubbing in the role of “To You Who Shines” was a different kind of challenge and fun.

And now, the long-awaited meeting between the two Sei Shonagons, Osei Shonagon and Kikyo! A super hot development awaits. It was also like a dream to dub with Ai Fairouz, who has been a fan of mine for a long time! Please look forward to it!
