The protagonist, Yu Otosaka, is a high school freshman who can move into other people’s bodies for five seconds. Yu meets the heroine, Nao Tomori, and transfers to Hoshinoumi Academy to deal with students who misuse their unique abilities.
Angel Beats!
Coming in first place was “Angel Beats!”, an original animation work written and scripted by Jun Maeda. The main character, Otonashi, meets Yuri, the leader of the “Dead World Front,” whose goal is revenge against God, at a school in the “afterlife.” Otonashi and Yuri decide to fight against the school’s student council president, Angel. The story, which depicts the “lives” of boys and girls with sad pasts, became a hot topic.
