I will appear in “Ranma 1/2” as Ichiro, a Furinkan High School broadcasting club member. I am in charge of live commentary on various games. The director instructed me to include some ad-lib, so I enjoyed acting to liven up the work. Please be sure to watch the broadcast.

This work is a re-animation of the manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” (published by Shogakukan) from 1987 to 1996 by Takahashi Rumiko, known for “Urusei Yatsura,” “Maison Ikkoku,” and “Inuyasha.” The series follows the hectic daily life of Saotome Ranma, a high school boy who turns into a woman when splashed with water, and the battles he faces with his unique companions, including his fiancee, Tendo Akane.

“Ranma 1/2” airs every Saturday at 12:55 a.m. on Nippon TV. It is then broadcast nationwide on Nippon TV affiliates and exclusively streamed on Netflix immediately after the broadcast. A preview and preview video of episode 2, “I Hate Men,” which will be aired and streamed on October 12th, have also been released.
