Gojo Satoru (CV: Yuichi Nakamura) is the strongest character in Jujutsu Kaisen. He is known for his cheat-level strength and the “blindfolded handsome man.” He is known for his frivolous personality, but it seems his frivolousness has not changed since childhood. When he visited a girls’ school as a student, there was a scene “like a shojo manga” where he took off his sunglasses and captivated the female students.

The currently streaming anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has a total circulation of over 100 million copies.

The end of the serialization, which lasted for about six and a half years, also attracted much attention in September of this year. The story depicts the battle between “curses” born from negative human emotions and sorcerers who exorcise them with sorcery. The story begins when Yuji Itadori, who ends up sharing a body with the “King of Curses” Ryomen Sukuna, transfers to the “Jujutsu Technical College,” an “anti-curse specialized institution.”

The first season of the TV anime aired in October 2020 and received a great response in Japan and worldwide. The second season, which aired from July to December 2023, depicted the story of Gojo Satoru and the worst sorcerer, Geto Suguru (CV: Sakurai Takahiro), during their time at the technical college, Kaitama/Gamaori, and the timeline that continues from the first season, Shibuya Incident. The production of a sequel, Death Returns, has also been decided.

Gojo and Geto are tasked with protecting Amano Riko (voiced by Nagase Anna), an important character known as the “Star Plasma.” In episode 26 of “Kaitama Tamaori,” Gojo and Geto sense something unusual happening at the mission school Amano attends and rush to the school.

At the time, Amano is in music class and is said to be in the music room or the chapel. The two split up and headed for the chapel, where Gojo slammed open the door from which he heard singing.

All the girls’ eyes were on Gojo as he came running in, shouting, “Amanai!” The girls fussed at the handsome guy’s sudden appearance like something out of a dramatic scene, exclaiming, “What?!” and “What, Riko, is he your boyfriend?” Amanai denied it, but the excitement around him didn’t subside, with comments like “A high school student?!” “He’s so tall!” and “Take off those sunglasses!” Gojo then enthusiastically removed his sunglasses and posed for the girls. This elicited even more screams of “Aaaaahhh!!” “He’s so handsome!” “His eyelashes are so long!” and “Why are his eyes blue?”

Gojo was getting carried away and acted like a prince from a shojo manga. The female teacher, who should have calmed down the commotion, was also worried about Gojo’s good-looking behavior and warned him, “It’s a problem. Even if you’re family, you can’t just come in without permission,” and tried to hand him a note saying, “This is my phone number.”

Viewers were enthralled by the devastatingly unfolding world of Gojo, with comments such as “Gojo Satoru takes off his sunglasses, lol,” ” I want to scream when I see that magnificent face…” “What a handsome guy,” and “When a handsome guy like that appears, it’s bound to cause a stir, lol.”
