“Chuzenji Sensei’s Monster Lectures: The Teacher Solves the Mysteries” is a school youth supernatural tale in which the protagonist, a female student named Kusakabe Shiori, meets the newly appointed Japanese teacher Chuzenji Akihiko. Together, they face various incidents related to the supernatural.
The original work is a spin-off manga by Aki Shimizu about Kyogokudo’s time as a high school teacher. It is a prequel to Kyogoku Natsuhiko’s “Night Parade of One Hundred Demons” novel series, which has sold over 10 million copies.
The first key visual released this time shows the protagonists Kusakabe Kana and Nakazenji Akihiko standing back to back against the backdrop of a used bookstore in the Showa era lit by the setting sun. Its impressive finish shows the relationship between the two characters and the story’s atmosphere.
The teaser PV also gives a glimpse of some of the “supernatural” elements that will be depicted in the main story.
