by The teaser PV for the second season of the TV anime Dandadan, based on the original work by Tatsuyuki Shinobu, has been released. The final episode aired on December 20th, and the second season will air in July 2025.
The teaser PV also features new scenes from the second season, including new characters Kito Naki and Jasshi, a child peeking through the gaps in the bars, and a man in briefs who says, “All humans will be killed.” It also includes ominous words such as “He is coming” and “The embodiment of grudge.”
Some staff information has also been revealed. Science SARU will continue to produce the second season. Abel Gongora, who was in charge of the opening animation in the first season, will join Yamashiro Fuuga, the first season’s director, in a two-person directorial team.
“Dandadan” is an “occult battle and coming-of-age story” in which Momo, a high school girl born into a family of spiritualists, and Okarun, an occult maniac, Takakura Ken, take on various mysteries. The original work is serialized in Shonen Jump+. TV anime “Dandadan” Season 2 is scheduled to be broadcast nationwide in July 2025
