by The plot and preview cuts for episode 40 of the anime ” Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story – Kyoto Uprising” and “Gathering of the Ten Swords” have been released.
“Rurouni Kenshin” is based on a manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki, which has sold over 72 million copies. The previous anime series was broadcast in 1996, followed by OVAs and movies. In 2023, a new TV anime series with a completely new staff and cast will be broadcast in July 2023, with the first season consisting of 24 episodes. The second season’s second course will begin airing on January 9th.
Episode 40, “The Ten Swords Assemble”
Kenshin gives Seijuro medicine to prevent him from dying after he is mortally wounded during the secret technique transmission. Meanwhile, Uonuma Usui, who has the “mind’s eye,” Kamatari, a cross-dressing scythe user; Saizuchi, an old man with a large head and a short body, and his giant partner Fuji, arrive at Shishio’s base. The Ten Swords and Soji gather together. Shishio declares in front of them that he will set Kyoto on fire the next night.
