by The second GQuuuuuuX unit, GFreD, from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, has been turned into a figure by the METAL ROBOT Spirits finished robot figure brand. Reservations are currently being accepted at the Tamashii Web Shop on Bandai Namco Group’s official online store, Premium Bandai.
In Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, the GFreD is used by Kycilia’s Newtype forces and is a mobile suit developed as the second GQuuuuuuX unit. It is piloted by Nyaan, whose powers were discovered by Kycilia.
Unlike the heroic white-based GQuuuuuuX, its purple color scheme harbors a sense of nobility and mystery. Nyaan felt that it “looked like Lady Kycilia.” Externally, the shape of the thruster ports on the head, shoulders, and back is different from GQuuuuuuX.
The new ” METAL ROBOT Spirits GFreD ” comes with two “S-Bits” on the head, which come with a part that recreates the ejection state with an effect that evokes the trajectory and an interchangeable head part for after ejection. The beam rifle, which has the same shape as GQuuuuuX, has been meticulously reproduced with its vivid color scheme.
The beam saber, which is the same shape and where it is attached as GQuuuuuuX, has a different colored beam blade in transparent purple. Another highlight is the extensive use of die-cast material to maintain the strength of the joints of GFreD, which has a unique joint mechanism. The lower body is particularly heavily used, which not only ensures strength but also contributes to the weight when held in the hand and the stability of posing. Enjoy it in your favorite display.
