“There are too many productions,” as postponements are announced one after another.

As a series of Fall 2025 anime series are being postponed, Magmix published an article titled “Postponed Fall 2025 Anime: Positive Voices Gather: ‘For the Amazing Animation’ and ‘We’ll Wait as Long as You Want'” (published September 17, 2025), which garnered numerous comments. The article introduced the postponement information for “The Atelier of Witch Hat,” “The Princess Knight is a Barbarian Bride,” and “The Hero’s Punishment.

The Prison Records of the 9004th Squad,” along with voices expressing hopes for “improvements in quality.” Considering the fall anime season will be broadcasting approximately 70 titles, including short stories, many commented, “They’re just making too many!” and “They could cut down the number of titles a bit.” Additionally, while the details were not disclosed after the article was published, it was announced that a series originally scheduled for broadcast in the fall of 2025 had been postponed. For example, “Isekai Munchkin: The Fastest and Strongest Dungeon Conquest with 1 HP” (original story by Yuu Shimizu, art by Ryo Aogiri), announced on September 16, will be postponed “to further improve quality,” with the start date yet to be determined.

The story begins with protagonist Yukito Kirihara (voiced by Nozomi Urawa) being killed by a monster that attacks the real world from another dimension. He then steals a book containing everything about the other world, “Everworld,” from the goddess Nephilia (voiced by Yoko Hikasa), who is trying to reincarnate him. Upon learning from the book that his beloved younger sister, Sana Kirihara (voiced by Hika Tsukishiro), has been reincarnated in Everworld, Yukito himself is reincarnated. Despite being cursed with only 1 HP (vital force), he overcomes the situation with ruthless determination.

The announcement of the series’ delay was met with both acceptance for the sake of improving quality and concern for the production team, with many expressing shock and concern for the impact on the team’s well-being. “What happened to the joy of living?” Additionally, on September 22, the official website for “Ojousama wa Kakutou Game Nante Shinai” (original work by Eri Ejima ) announced that its broadcast would be postponed to 2026, stating, “After adjusting schedules with all parties involved, we have decided to change the broadcast start date.”

The story follows the protagonist, Aya Mizuki (voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa ), a commoner who enrolls in a school for rich girls, and Mio Yoe (voiced by Kana Ichinose), who attracts attention at school and is nicknamed “Shirayuri-sama,” as they discover they are both fighting gamers and deepen their friendship. In the original work, the fighting game played by Aya and Mio is fictionalized as “Iron Senpai 4.”

The anime version features a collaboration with “Street Fighter 6” (Capcom), and the teaser trailer showcases actual gameplay. The slightly different reason for the delay, namely schedule adjustments, has led to some concerns on the production side on social media, with some saying, “The trends in the fighting game world have changed drastically, so it must be difficult to make adjustments.” We will continue to await further news until the anime airs.
