Rakuten PLAY, a streaming guide service provided by Rakuten Group Inc., has released the results of its “Content Overall Ranking” quantitative survey of video content from Monday, September 29th to Sunday, October 5th.
As a result, “Wednesday Downtown” took the top spot in this week’s weekly rankings. Rounding out the top three were “Detective Conan” in second place and “Kaiju No. 8 Season 2” in third place.
Seven new anime and drama titles made their debut, including ” SPY×FAMILY Season 3 ” in fourth place, ” Bake-Bake,” “My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON” in seventh place, and “If This World Were a Stage, Where Would the Dressing Room Be?” in eighteenth place. By genre, a whopping 22 anime titles made it into the top 30, along with four dramas and four entertainment titles. The rankings were created based on a quantitative online survey of men and women aged 15 and over residing in Japan.
The survey involved responses from approximately 3,000 people who had used video streaming services in the past week, who were asked to select and write their opinions on the shows they had watched.
The rankings were determined based on the number of views.
