Netflix teams up with Mattel and Hasbro to release merchandise for hit anime series ‘K-Pop Girls! Demon Hunters’

Netflix announced that it has appointed Mattel and Hasbro as global co-master toy licensees for the hit animated film ” K-Pop Girls! Demon Hunters. “

The film, which premiered in June 2025, has become Netflix’s most popular title, garnering over 325 million streams in just 91 days. The soundtrack reached number one on the Billboard 200 album chart and has been streamed over 8.3 billion times worldwide. Furthermore, the film’s characters have become a social phenomenon overseas, dominating this year’s top five Halloween costume search rankings.

This significant collaboration brings together two rivals in the American toy industry: Mattel (Barbie) and Hasbro (Transformers, Dungeons & Dragons). Through this collaboration, Netflix will develop a merchandise line that will allow fans of all ages to enjoy the characters, music, and worldview of the work in new ways, including toys, collectibles, games, and role-playing products.
