The “Forgetfulness Event Project” for the second season has begun. “Burning Battery” began serialization in April 2018. The story follows a monster battery made a name for themselves in the junior high school baseball world: the flawless pitcher Haruka Kiyomine and the sharp catcher and “wise general” Kei Kaname, who advance to Tokyo Metropolitan Kotesashi High School, an unknown baseball school. Kei has lost his memory and all knowledge of baseball, and by chance, some geniuses who had lost to them and distanced themselves from baseball also enroll in the same school.
The anime is directed by Nakazono Masato, who was involved in “Chainsaw Man” as chief director, and produced by MAPPA. Masuda Toshiki will play Kiyomine Haruka, and Miyano Mamoru will play Kaname Keiāthe first season of the TV anime aired from April to July 2024.
