by It has been decided that a second season of the anime Bocchi the Rock! It will be produced. A special trailer, staff information, and commemorative illustrations have been released.
“Bocchi the Rock!” is a popular four-panel manga by Hamaji Aki that is currently serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara MAX. “Bocchi-chan,” or Hitori Goto, is a lonely girl who loves the guitar. She spends her days playing the guitar alone at home, but by chance, she joins the “Yuuzou Band,” led by Nika Ijichi.
When the TV anime began airing in the fall of 2022, it gained tremendous domestic and international support. In terms of music, the band Yuuzouband’s full album Yuuzouband won first place in Oricon’s 2023 Digital Album Ranking by Sales Volume and first place on Billboard JAPAN’s Annual Download Album Chart, creating a huge sensation.
At the “Yuzuru Band TOUR, “We will B,” held on Saturday, February 15th, a teaser video and information on the central staff were announced as a surprise, along with details on the production of the anime’s second season.
In addition, an illustration by new character designer Keimon Oda has arrived to commemorate the second season’s production.
