The exhibition began with 21 character videos, profiles, and colored paper that appeared in work and collected more than 320 valuable materials such as theme songs, videos, and sketches before becoming cels, original drawings, cels, and pilot films.
The exhibition is divided every five years so that you can understand the history so far. At the show’s end, we have prepared a history panel that provides a chronological overview of the changes to date along with current affairs news, enabling us to reflect on our 30-year history.
Toshiyuki Suzuki, who was in charge of curation, said, “There is also an exhibition of small items that have been modified from daily necessities that Momoko Sakura used in her private life and a photo spot where you can take pictures with Chibi Maruko. Related events are also being prepared, so please look forward to them.”
Open from 9:30 to 17:00. Closed on Mondays (or the following weekday if Monday is a national holiday). The admission fee is 520 yen for adults and 260 yen for elementary and junior high school students until January 15, 2023.
