The first season of the TV anime, broadcast from April to September 2019, gained popularity and became a social phenomenon. 

The movie “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train”, which connects to the final episode of the anime, was released in October 2020 and became a massive hit with domestic box office revenue exceeding 40 billion yen, and the movie will continue from December 2021. 

The second season of the TV anime “Yukaku Edition” depicting the world, is broadcast. Then, the third season, “Swordsmith’s Village”, a continuation of the second season, was broadcast in April 2023.
