The anime series “Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-” (commonly known as Re: ZERO) is based on a popular novel (original author: Nagatsuki Tappei/illustrator: Otsuka Shinichiro) that has sold over 13 million copies (including digital) worldwide.
It is a dark fantasy in which Natsuki Subaru (voiced by Kobayashi Yusuke) suddenly finds himself lost in another world and uses his “Return by Death” ability to rewind time by dying to face his cruel fate.
The anime’s first season aired in 2016 and was a massive hit. The second season and an OVA were produced. The first part of the third season, “Attack Arc,” consisting of eight episodes, aired in 2024, and the second part, “Counterattack Arc,” has finally begun.
