The TV anime series “The Forbidden Mole” and “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness” are collaborating with Seibuen Amusement Park. The collaborative event, “Halloween Party for the Other World and This World,” will take place from September 12 to October 31, 2025.

Mole” is a “horror x comedy” series currently being serialized in Kodansha’s “Morning” magazine, depicting the mysterious world of this world where “people” and “spirits” intersect mysteriously and humorously. “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness” was also serialized in the same magazine until 2020, depicting King Enma’s first aide, Hozuki, dealing with troubles in Hell.

This collaboration was made possible by the fact that Natsumi Eguchi writes both series. This Halloween event, Seibuen Amusement Park’s first since its 2021 renovation, combines the worlds of “Forbidden Mole,” which depicts this world, and “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness,” which represents the otherworld, for a thrilling experience.

“Forbidden Mole Mystery Game: Mysterious Phenomena at the Halloween Party” involves guests exploring the park to solve mysteries and stop strange phenomena occurring in places they should never approach. Meanwhile, “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness Mystery Game: Enma Agency Temporary Investigator’s Order! ~The Blank Page and His Whereabouts~” involves guests receiving a request from Hozuki to gather clues to fill in a blank page found in the Enma Book.

There will also be plenty of collaborative food and original merchandise inspired by scenes from the series. Sukerokuya, from “The Forbidden Mole,” offers the “Island Feast! Fried Horse Mackerel Set Meal,” reminiscent of Yaeko’s local seafood specialty.

The large, meaty fried horse mackerel is filling enough to fill you up. Cafe Victoria, from “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness,” introduces the spicy “Hell’s Red Pasta,” topped with baby corn inspired by Hozuki’s horns and a bright red color befitting hell. Add Tabasco sauce to taste, and you’ll be transported even further to “Hell.” Tsurukamedo’s “Goldfish Grass Dumplings” come in three flavors: miso, mitarashi, and Sayama tea. They’re the perfect snack to enjoy while walking around. Orders of collaboration food will receive a random novelty coaster based on the purchase amount.

Original merchandise includes acrylic stands, badges, key chains, and more featuring original illustrations from the “Halloween Party of the Other World and This World.” For every 3,000 yen spent, including original merchandise, a photo-style card will be given away.

Festival games include “Forbidden Mole Pistol Darts,” in which players aim at and retrieve ghost lights gathering among the moles enjoying the Halloween party, and “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness Mini-Game Demon Extermination,” in which players feed kibi dango to demons to make them their allies. Exclusive prizes are reportedly available here. At the Fujimi Observation Tower and the rotating trapeze, players can hear exclusive voice recordings of “Forbidden Mole” moles, Akira Makiguri, and Yaeko Kirihara, along with familiar music. Enjoy the experience of riding the attraction together.

Additionally, Seibuen Amusement Park’s “One-Day Leisure Ticket,” which includes admission and unlimited rides on attractions, is now available with exclusive perks for the “Halloween Party in This World and the Other World”: the “Forbidden Mole One-Day Leisure Ticket with Bonus & Rally” and the “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness One-Day Leisure Ticket with Bonus & Rally.” It comes with a ticket-style card (2 types of each, four types in total) and a puzzle-solving game kit. On October 26, a talk event will be held with the all-star cast of voice actors from the TV anime “Dekin no Mogura.”
