Intermission footage of the theatrical animation “Etoile Blooming in Paris” featuring Touma Ami and Arashi Rina’s dubbing “Etoile Blooms in Paris” is scheduled for release on March 13, 2026. Set in the glittering Paris of the early 20th century, the film tells the coming-of-age story of two dreamy young girls from Japan: Fujiko, who dreams of becoming a painter but is expected to become a good wife one day, and Chizuru, who comes from a samurai family and is a master of the naginata sword but is drawn to ballet. Ami Touma plays Fujiko, and Rina Arashi plays Chizuru.
The released intermission video begins with Fujiko shouting her name, “I’m Fujiko! Tsugita Fujiko!!” against the backdrop of the vibrant Parisian cityscape. The trailer shows Fujiko, who dreams of becoming a painter, heading towards the canvas, people watching her kindly, and Chizuru dancing lightly in ballet, as well as a recording session of Touma and Arashi expressively delivering their lines.
