On the Billboard JAPAN anime chart “JAPAN Hot Animation,” released on October 8, 2025 (calculation period: September 29, 2025 – October 5, 2025), Kenshi Yonezu’s “IRIS OUT,” the theme song for the film “Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc,” topped the charts for the third consecutive week. Last week, “IRIS OUT” topped the charts in CD sales, streaming, and video playback.

This week, it also topped the radio and download charts, achieving a five-time crown. It remained in second place in the karaoke category, maintaining its position there as well. While its total points earned decreased by approximately 26.29% compared to the previous week, it still boasts a nearly double lead over the second-place song. In second place remains Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada’s collaborative track “JANE DOE” (the ending theme for the film “Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc”).

The song ranked second in all four categories except CD sales and karaoke. Along with “IRIS OUT,” songs related to the movie “Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc” have reigned in the top two for two consecutive weeks. In third place, Aina the End’s “Kakumei Dochu” (opening theme for the second season of the TV anime “Dandadan”) dropped from sixth to seventh place in the CD sales index, but continued to record points close to those of the previous week. In fourth place, Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s “Kusushiki” (opening theme for the TV anime “The Apothecary Diaries”) is notable for once again ranking first in the karaoke index this week.
