Nintendo’s popular content ” Pokémon, “the first short animation delivered by the official Pokémon baby brand “Monpoke,” will finally be released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel “Pokémon KidsTV” on February 19, 2025. On the first day, Wednesday, February 19, episodes 1 and 2 will be released at 11:00 a.m.! After that, one episode will be released on “Pokémon KidsTV” every Wednesday.
Monpoke’s new short animation work, consisting of 10 episodes, tells the story of Pikachu who comes to Monpoke Island, meets many friends such as Dedenne, Manect, Smeargle, and Ludicolo, and finds various “first times.” Set on Monpoke Island, with its beautiful forests and sparkling sandy beaches, this work depicts the fun days of Pikachu and his friends and is a work that can be enjoyed by a wide range of ages, from children to adults.
The narrator of this work is Natsuki Hanae, a voice actor who has been active in many works. His narration gently colors the job with a narration that accompanies Pikachu and his friends’ “first-time” experience. In addition, Natsuki Hanae has provided a special comment, saying, “When I previously read the picture book “Pikachu and My First Friend,” I felt it was wonderful. Now that it has been decided that “Monpoke” will be made into an anime, I am honored to be involved again.”
