As an additional cast member, M.A.O. has been selected to play the role of Claire, the second princess of the empire.
“The White Mage Who Was Expelled from the Hero’s Party is Picked Up by an S-Rank Adventurer ~This White Mage is So Out of the Ordinary~” is a fantasy about a white mage named Lloyd who is suddenly kicked out of the hero’s party and unconsciously becomes invincible—the second key visual shows Lloyd with his friends, including Claire.
The ending theme song has also been decided to be “Hikari Sasu Tobira,” sung by ChouCho. On June 7, a live broadcast will be made on Happinet’s official YouTube channel featuring Kajiwara Gakuto (voice of Lloyd), Hidaka Rina (voice of Yui), and Shiraishi Haruka (voice of Silica). “An S-Rank Adventurer Picks Up the White Mage Expelled from the Hero’s Party – This White Mage is So Out of the Ordinary” will begin airing on July 10. It will also be available on the Anime Store and ABEMA on July 5 ahead of terrestrial broadcasting.
Comment from M.A.O (voice of Claire): I’m M.A.O, who will be playing the role of Claire. Lloyd, the main character, believes he is not good enough. The difference in temperature between his friends, who are aware of his extraordinary abilities, is so funny that it’s addictive! Claire is a girl with a gentle and elegant atmosphere, and I thought her reaction when she encountered something she didn’t know was very cute. I will do my best to portray the charm depicted in the original work in the anime!!
Choucho’s comment: For the ending theme song, I wanted to focus on the everyday aspects that aren’t depicted much in the main story, so I aimed to create bright, comforting music. I wrote the lyrics with the image of speaking to the main character, but they also contain a positive message that can encourage people who are worried or anxious.
