Shizuoka Railway announced on the 10th that it will carry out a collaboration project starting March 17th, including running trains wrapped in the TV anime “My Hero Academia.”

The wrapped train is a limited edition design based on the 7-color design of “Shizuoka Rainbow Trains” and features Hero Academia characters. It will run until June 16th during the collaboration period.

A departure ceremony for A3003 featuring the main character Izuku Midoriya will commemorate the collaboration wrapping vehicle operation at the Transportation Office near Naganuma Station from 10 am to 10 am on March 17th.

In addition to unveiling the wrapped vehicle, there will be a talk show by Daiki Yamashita, who plays the role of Izuku Midoriya, and a one-day station master inauguration ceremony. After that, the train will be chartered to operate the section from Naganuma Station to Shin-Shimizu Station and Shin-Shizuoka Station. Advance registration is required for the departure ceremony. The participation fee is 3,200 yen per person and will be sold at 7-Eleven terminals or seven tickets from 10 am on January 20th (limited to the first 200 people).

On April 28th and May 12th, a vehicle photo session will be held with all collaboration-wrapped vehicles lined up. Since it will be held early in the morning before the first train, set plans with Shizutetsu Hotel Pregio will also be sold.

The single accommodation plan costs 26,000 yen, and the twin accommodation costs 42,000 yen. Participation in just the photo session costs 10,000 yen. Reservations for accommodation plans are accepted at Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Shizuoka Ekikita and Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Shizuoka Ekiminami. If you only want to participate in the photo session, tickets will be sold at 7-Eleven terminals or 7 Tickets. Reservations for both will start from 11 am on February 7th.

Limited collaboration goods using original visuals drawn for this collaboration project are also available. Shizuoka Shimizu Line 1-day free tickets and station name acrylic keychains will be on sale from March 17th.
