Turkey! is an original bowling time-slip anime directed by Susumu Kudo and animated by Tatsunoko Productions’ label BAKKEN RECORD. Set in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, the story depicts the interactions and youth of five members of the bowling club at Ichikokukan High School in Nagano Prefecture who suddenly find themselves transported back in time to the Sengoku period, and the Tokura family they meet there.
At Ichikokukan High School Bowling Club, the club president, Mai, wants to prioritize everyone’s fun over victory, but her junior, Rina, rebels, saying, “I want to win.” Mai tries to convince Rina, who is trying to quit the club, but Rina challenges her to a game instead.
Then, suddenly, the ball starts to glow and the five members are enveloped in light… When they wake up, they find themselves in the Sengoku period. The cast includes members of the Ichikokukan High School Bowling Club, with Hishikawa Kana as Otonashi Mai, Ichinose Kana as Godai Rina, Ichinose Sayuri as Iwata Haruki, Mitaka Nozomi as Amami Yuuki, and Ito Ayasa as Nikaido Nanase.
Among the members of the Tokura family, Hidaka Noriko as Kotobuki Momo, Minaguchi Yuko as Shuka, Inoue Kikuko as Ketsuri, Ito Miki as Anju, and Sakuma Rei as Natsumu. Episode 2 (2nd throw) “Lost and Outspat” Synopsis: After being engulfed in an intense light, they wake up to find themselves in the Sengoku period. After surviving the battle, Mai and the other three are reunited with Rina, whom they had been separated from. However, immediately afterwards, they are attacked by samurai and find themselves in a desperate situation.
Then a mysterious, handsome young warrior named Ketsuri appears, and Mai and the others escape into the forest. But this time, Ketsuri is captured. Amid despair, the five of them grab their balls and begin a rescue mission.
