Toshinobu Kubota, who performs the opening and ending themes for the TV anime “Let’s Play: My Life Full of Quests,” will appear as himself in the final episode, which will air late at night on Fuji TV on December 17. A video of Kubota’s voice recording has been posted on YouTube.

“Let’s Play: My Life Full of Quests” is a love story set in Los Angeles, USA. Sam Young, a 22-year-old dreaming of becoming a game creator, has avoided deep relationships with men until now. He gradually breaks out of his shell as he becomes close with popular game commentator Marshall Law, his boss at work, Charles Jones, and his childhood friend and cafe employee, Link Hudson. Kubota’s character, Toshinobu Kubota, appears in a particular scene in the final episode.

After completing the dubbing, Kubota commented, “First of all, I’d like to apologize to the professional voice actors. The lines I was given were only for a short moment, but they were difficult. I thought about it while acting, but playing myself, Toshinobu Kubota, was the most difficult. I think that playing a specific role allows you to create a character with more daring abilities.”

Kubota Toshinobu Comment Thoughts from my first dubbing session: First of all, I’d like to apologize to the professional voice actors. The lines I was given were only for a short moment, but they were difficult. I thought about it while acting, but playing myself, Toshinobu Kubota, was the most difficult. Playing a specific role allows you to create a character with more daring abilities. Message to all fans: I composed two songs.

The opening is an exciting and challenging song. The ending is the opposite, a lovely song. They go well with the various stories told in the anime, so I hope you’ll enjoy listening to them and the anime.
