TV anime ‘SAKAMOTO DAYS’ second season confirmed, visual of Sakamoto as a JCC student, and promotional video released

A second season of ” SAKAMOTO DAYS ” (original author: Suzuki Yuto), a TV anime adaptation of the popular manga from “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shueisha), which has sold over 15 million copies worldwide, has been announced, and the production announcement visual and super teaser PV were first unveiled at the

The first season, which aired this year, depicted assassins targeting Sakamoto, who has a 1 billion yen bounty on his head, and fierce battles with powerful assassins sent by the mysterious figure “X (Slur).”

At the end of the battle, Sakamoto learns that X, whom ORDER is also pursuing, is actually Arizuki, a classmate of his from his days at JCC (a training institute for assassins). He then decides to infiltrate JCC in search of clues.

The visual announcing the second season’s production depicts Sakamoto from his time at JCC, riding a large motorcycle and aiming a gun with a sharp gaze at a target behind him, creating a sense of speed.

The teaser PV shows Sakamoto, disguised as a student teacher, wreaking havoc at the JCC he infiltrates, Shin unexpectedly reuniting with an old enemy, and ORDER’s Nagumo and Kamigami Kai engaging in battle with assassins one after another, all in the nonstop action you’d expect from “SAKAMOTO DAYS.” Anticipation for the second season is building. On stage that day, Sugita Tomokazu, who plays Sakamoto Taro; Shimazaki Nobunaga, who plays Asakara Shin; Namikawa Daisuke, who plays X (Slur); and Uchiyama Kouki, who plays Raku, appeared to look back on the first season and announce the decision to produce a second season.
