by The main trailer for the TV anime “Arne’s Case Files,” which will air in January 2026, has been released. Additional character settings and cast members have also been announced. It has also been decided that a comic book adaptation based on the anime’s episodes will be released under a new label.
“Arne’s Case Files” is based on a full-scale mystery game created by the game production team “Harumurasaki” and distributed on the serialized game distribution site “Game Magazine” since 2017.
The story revolves around Arne Neunter, a “legendary vampire” who works as a detective in Rügenberg, a city inhabited by strange creatures, and Lynn Reinweiss, a young lady from a prestigious aristocratic family who is a vampire otaku.
This is a full-scale mystery and gothic fantasy in which the mismatched pair uncover the truth behind a series of bizarre and mysterious incidents. In the anime series, the triple protagonists, Arne (voiced by Uchiyama Kouki/Tanaka Aimi) and Rin (voiced by Nukui Yuzuka), along with the anime-original character Louis (voiced by Ise Mariya), solve the cases.
In the released footage from the anime, Rin, whose vampire geek switch has been activated, is seen in her room watching a film depicting the background of the birth of the Nointator, “the only and most evil vampire,” and shouting with all her might the “Nointator call” – “Every! Bloody! Eternity! Nointator!” This is one of the most popular scenes from the original game. Also announced are new character settings and cast members for the servants of the prestigious noble Reinweiss family.
The cast has been announced: Naka Hiroshi as the butler Gordon, Koyamauchi Reo as the maid Diana, Terasawa Momoka as Elise, Yasuda Rikuya as the security guard Bernd, Uemura Yuto as the chef Heinz, and Hatano Sho as the gardener Kai. Speaking of the comic adaptation of “Arne’s Case Files,” a work by Ina Utsubo, who illustrated “The Reinweiss Family Murder Case,” has been serialized in Comic Gene since 2018, with all four volumes currently on sale. To coincide with the anime adaptation, a new comic adaptation of the anime episodes will be published on the online manga site Comic Growl.
The illustrations will be by Inakura Ko. It will begin publication at noon on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, immediately after the first episode of the anime airs.
