The release date of My Hero Academia Volume 40 is set for Thursday, April 4, 2024. However, the series unveiled the cover for the following compiled volume almost two weeks before the manga’s publication. All Might will be seen wearing the same clothes he did when he fought All For One.

Kohei Horikoshi is the author and illustrator of My Hero Academia, which started publication in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014. The manga series is currently in its last arc, with the fight against Shigaraki Tomura having progressed to a new phase over ten years after it first started.
In any case, it appears like the end is near.

The release date of My Hero Academia Volume 40 is scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2024. The planned title for the manga volume is “The End of An Era, And -.” Regarding the cover art, it shows Armored All Might, or All Might, wearing the armored suit he donned in the Final Arc during his battle with All For One.

Furthermore, there is a crimson silhouette of Katsuki Bakugo in the backdrop of the My Hero Academia Volume 40 cover. The shadowy figure might allude to his participation in the conflict with All For One.

The striking likeness between Armored All Might and Batman from DC Comics led most fans to draw this comparison right away. Fans noticed the similarity between the two heroes when the manga chapters were released, but the manga cover image seemed to highlight them further.

Furthermore, some fans dubbed Armored All Might “Iron Might” and made comparisons between him and Iron Man from Marvel Comics. So, some fans made jokes about how All Might looked like Tony Stark while wearing the outfit.
Fans understood that Kohei Horikoshi, being a lover of DC and Marvel Comics, was inspired to create Armored All Might by the same.

Some manga volume covers in the series were even deemed their favorites by fans, who were enamored with the cover art. They then commended manga creator Kohei Horikoshi for the illustrations he sent his readers. While this was going on, some manga fans attempted to poke fun at the series by praising the cover art and calling the Final Arc “mid.”
