An animation project started in 2016, and the OAD “The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Man Who Waits for Stars” was released in theaters. It was made into a TV animation in 2017 and staged in 2019 and 2020, and it is a blockbuster work that knows no end to its popularity.
The main character Chise Hatori, who has a mysterious constitution, will be played by Atsumi Tanezaki, who is attracting attention as Anya Forger in “SPY x FAMILY.” It is played by Ryota Takeuchi, who plays the role of Wakatoshi Ushijima, and other gorgeous casts such as Koki Uchiyama, Aya Endo, Satoshi Hino, and Mutsumi Tamura are gathering.
And this time, it has been decided to produce and broadcast “The Ancient Magus’ Bride SEASON 2”, a sequel to the TV anime that aired in 2017. From April 23, it will be posted on TOKYO MX, BS11, etc., and distributed on the same day as the TV broadcast on Prime Video and Hikari TV.
It was produced by Studio Kafka, who worked on the OAD “The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Boy of the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm.” With careful screen creation, the world view of “The Ancient Magus’ Bride” is vividly depicted.
Also, along with the decision to broadcast SEASON2, the teaser visual and teaser PV have been lifted for the first time. The teaser visual is based on a rough sketch drawn by the original author, Kore Yamazaki, and features Chise’s dignified expression and her cursed body.
