‘TenSura’ 2nd movie and 4th season of TV anime to be produced; Rimuru’s determined visual

It has been revealed that a second movie and a fourth season of the TV anime series ” That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura),” an anime adaptation of a famous light novel, on the novel submission site ” Let’s Become a Novelist,” will be produced.

The announcement was made when the 24th episode, the third season’s final episode, aired on Nippon Television’s anime slot ” FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)” on September 27th. A production announcement illustration depicting Rimuru with a determined look on his face and a teaser trailer was also released.

“TenSura” is a light novel by Fuse, who is popular on “Let’s Become a Novelist.” It depicts a modern office worker reincarnated in another world and active there. Taiki Kawakami’s comic book adaptation is serialized in ” Monthly Shonen Sirius ” (Kodansha).

The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2018 to March 2019, the first part of the second season aired from January to March 2021, and the second part from July to September 2021. A completely new movie version, “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Guren no Kizuna Arc,” with a story concept by Fuse, was released in November 2022.

The third season began airing on “FuraAni” in April 2024, with the final episode airing on September 27th.
