Atami Korakuen Hotel to hold collaboration event with TV anime ‘Hanakappa’

A collaboration event with the TV anime ” Hana Kappa ” began on December 21 at the Atami Korakuen Hotel in the Atami Bay Resort Korakuen (Wadahama Minami-cho, Atami City), a resort complex in Atami. (Atami Keizai Shimbun) A stamp rally with “Hana Kappa” goes around the hotel’s spots. The anime is broadcast on NHK Educational TV.

The original story is “Hana Kappa,” a picture book by Akiyama Tadashi. The story is set in Yamabiko Village, where Hanakappa, a member of the “Hana Kappa tribe” with flowers blooming on his head, lives with his family and friends. The story depicts their daily lives, making it popular with children.

During the event, a photo spot will be set up where you can take photos with Hanakappa, and collaboration drinks will be sold at the hotel’s restaurants. Limited edition novelties will be prepared for children under elementary school age who stay overnight.

A “Hana Kappa Hanasake Pakka-n♪ Flower Rally” will also be held for overnight and day-trip guests under elementary school age, where they can wear a Hanakappa sun visor and collect stamps. Participants who collect all the stamps will receive an original sticker.

The event will be held from 10:00 to 20:00. Participation is free. Limited to the first 100 people each day. Satoshi Ishiseki, the hotel’s business planning and creation department manager, said, “We planned an event that not only our guests but also local children can enjoy.
