by The event visuals for “Kinnikuman Chojin Festival 2025,” a special event commemorating the Perfect Chojin Ancestors arc of the anime “Kinnikuman,” have been released. The event will take place at Yokohama Budokan on August 3, 2025.
Featuring Kinnikuman, Terryman, and other heroes, as well as Buffalo Man, the leader of the evil heroes, the visuals are powerful and fitting for the Chojin Festival.
This special event will feature a lineup of superstar voice actors, including Miyano Mamoru, Ono Daisuke, Ono Kensho, Konishi Katsuyuki, Kasama Jun, Seki Tomokazu, Yasumoto Hiroki, and Ota Shinichiro, as well as artists Takanashi Koji x FLOW and Endo Masaaki. It will also feature Nakanishi Shigeki as MC, making it a talk and singing event.
“Kinnikuman” was first serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shueisha) in 1979 by Yudetamago (original scenario writer: Shimada Takashi and illustrations: Nakai Yoshinori). It is currently still being serialized in “Weekly Playboy” and “Shupure NEWS” (both published by Shueisha).
This work is a continuation of the Battle for the Throne of Planet Kinnikuman, previously broadcast as an anime series and produced by Production IG. It is one of the most popular arcs in the original work, the Perfect Superhuman Ancestor Arc.
General sales will start tomorrow, June 28 (Saturday), at 10:00. This event is suitable for a wide range of people, from Kinnikuman fans of the parent generation to children.
