“Water Wizard” is a fantasy by Hisaho Tadashi, currently being published by “TO Books” and is also being adapted into a comic, depicting the carefree adventures of the strongest water wizard who is too laid-back.
The story begins when a young man named Ryo, who has been reincarnated in another world, starts to live a slow life, beginning with a glass of water, a daily life where death is always close at hand. He is the only human on the isolated Londo subcontinent. Although there is nothing wrong with a life that goes with the flow, it is hectic with sword fights with the Headless Knight, attacks by Assassin Hawk, and encounters with dragons.
However, perhaps due to his natural carefreeness or his hidden skill “immortality”, twenty years have passed before he realizes it, and Ryo has reached the pinnacle of humanity’s greatest wizard. Eventually, Ryo’s encounter with the genius swordsman Abel brings him to the forefront of history.
Episode 2, “Abel the Drifter” Synopsis: Ryo rescues a man who was washed up on the beach. The man, who calls himself Abel, asks him to guide him to the town of Lun, and Ryo leaves Rondo Forest. Abel repels monsters that attack him along the way with brilliant fighting techniques. However, Ryo’s magic, which he has acquired through training, is at a level that even Abel is astonished by.
Episode 2 of the TV anime “The Magician of the Water Attribute”, “Abel the Drifter”, will be broadcast on TBS from 1:28 am on Thursday, July 10.
