The “Crew Unveiling PV” has been released, introducing additional cast members for the TV anime “Gnosia” and all 15 main characters.
“Gnosia,” which will begin airing in October, is based on a sci-fi adventure game based on the game “Werewolf” created by game development group Petit Depot. Set on the interstellar ship DQO, an unknown enemy known as Gnosia, disguised as humans, infiltrates the ship.
The crew, in a state of paranoia, votes for one suspicious person each day to put them into cold sleep. If the Gnosia can be put into cold sleep, the humans win. While the protagonist, Yuri, must make the right choice, he finds himself trapped in a situation where no matter what choice he makes, he is stuck in a loop that returns to the very first day. Information on the new cast members playing the DQO crew members has been announced.
The trailer also revealed that Shigemichi will be voiced by Tomokazu Seki, Stella by Saori Hayami, Yuriko by Aoi Yuki, Comet by Ayane Sakura, Shipi by Yuichi Nakamura, Jonas by Kenjiro Tsuda, Otome by Kana Hanazawa, Remnan by Takeo Otsuka, and Saki by Takuya Eguchi.
The trailer also revealed that the silent character Kukurushika will not be cast. In addition to the 10 other characters, the trailer also features fellow DQO crew members Yuri, Setsu, SQ, Rakio, and Jina. Comments have also been received from the nine additional cast members. Ahead of the broadcast, a preview screening of the first episode of “Gnosia” will be held on September 21st. A talk show featuring the cast will be held. Details, such as the cast and location, will be announced at a later date.
Comment from Tomokazu Seki (Shigemichi): I’m Tomokazu Seki, who will be playing the role of “Shigemichi” in Gnosia. I began recording with great interest in her mysterious appearance. As we refined our image, the image started to take shape. The story was captivating, and I approached recording with excitement every week, wondering what would happen and who would act. We hope you all look forward to the broadcast!
Comment from Hayami Saori (Stella): This series features a thrilling dialogue drama amidst a repetitive story. During the recording, I was secretly excited to experience the atmosphere created by the familiar cast members. Among the many unique characters, I voice Stella, a gentle and polite character. Please pay attention to her circumstances and thoughts. Please enjoy the broadcast.
Comment from Yuki Aoi (Yuriko): Yuriko is a high-status character who can change the atmosphere of a room with just one word. Isn’t it difficult to portray such persuasiveness? I knew it was a high hurdle to play someone far more talented than myself, but I put in my all. I hope everyone will bow down to me!
Comment from Sakura Ayane (role of Comet): I will be voicing Comet. I’m sure everyone is excited to see what kind of anime adaptation of a game with such a theme will be. Comet has a keen intuition and a weakness for lying, making him a very challenging character for a voice actor whose job is to create a world of lies that is real. The broadcast is just around the corner, so please look forward to it.
Comment from Nakamura Yuichi (role of Shipi): I’m Nakamura Yuichi, and I’ll be playing Shipi in the anime adaptation. Ever since I played the game, Shipi might be the most complex character to grasp. There’s a reason for that: the other characters have influential personalities and appearances, so while at first glance, this seemingly normal person might seem overshadowed. However, there’s a hidden personality behind his calm demeanor, and the cat attached to his neck is a peculiar character, so I hope to express that fully.
Comment from Tsuda Kenjiro (role of Jonas): It’s so much fun to play this mysterious, overly dramatic man (laughs). The series is full of unique characters and many mysteries, making it well worth watching. The developments in each episode are fast, so I hope you’ll watch it without getting left behind. I wasn’t distracted by the mysteries or developments, and I was able to act at my own pace (laughs).
Comment from Hanazawa Kana (Otome): When I received the offer, I was overwhelmed by how dolphin-like and cute she was. However, although it may sound like I’m bragging, once I started playing the role, it felt right. I hope to portray the cheerful and playful Otome in a lively way!
Comment from Otsuka Takeo (Remnan): There are many exciting and passionate efforts being made not only in the anime itself, but throughout the entire series, so I’m very excited to be taking part in the dubbing. Among all these incredibly unique characters, what kind of person is Remnan? I’ll do my best to play with her. Thank you very much!
Comment from Eguchi Takuya (role of Sami): “There are a lot of fans in the original work too…” I was so excited to play Sami, who so many people love, that I put pressure on the staff, and I wanted to be as close as possible to the image of Sami that everyone has in their minds. Sami has so many different expressions. She can be playful and serious. I hope everyone will enjoy the range of these contrasts. I had a lot of fun recording it. I can’t wait for everyone to see it. TV anime “Gnosia” begins broadcasting in October 2025
