We have posted photos of Tsukuyomi Kuro, who participated in the event dressed in cosplay as Emilia from ” Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-,” we interviewed her about what she paid attention to when cosplaying and her plans.
What made you want to cosplay as Emilia from “Re: ZERO − Starting Life in Another World” this time?
Tsukuyo Kuro (hereafter referred to as Tsukuyo): I’ve been watching “Re: Zero” since the first season, and I’ve always thought Emilia was a fascinating character from the beginning of the series. Since the third season began, there have been many opportunities for Emilia to play an active role in the story, and I thought that since she’s currently starring in the anime that’s airing in real-time (as of March 2025), I might as well try cosplaying as her, so I gave it a go.
What did you want to express with this cosplay?
“Re: Zero” has been popular for a long time, but when did you first encounter the series, and what are your favorite parts?
Tsukuyo: I first came across this work a few years ago, but once you start watching it, you can’t stop because you want to know what happens next. It’s so addictive. The characters are unique, with many surprising developments, so I enjoy watching them and thinking about each episode.
Please let us know if there is any cosplay you would like to try in the future.
Tsukuyo: As for the characters from “Re: ZERO,” I want to try playing Elsa next. I plan to do it next year. Lately, I’ve been cosplaying many “F F1 4” characters, but I want to continue enjoying cosplay, which is the best hobby I can have and allows me to express myself.

Tsukuyo-san expressed Emilia’s transience and transparency well. She also said that she would like to take on the challenge of playing Elsa, a femme fatale, so it will be interesting to see her appearance.
