Dorohedoro (all 23 volumes) is a masterpiece by Kyu Hayashida that has been loved for 18 years since its serialization began in 2000. In 2020, it was miraculously made into a TV anime, captivating many Dorohedos (a collective term for fans who love Dorohedoro). Four years after the broadcast ended, a sequel was decided to be produced as a distribution series.

It shows Kaiman, a man with amnesia whose face was turned into a lizard by magic, and his partner Nikaido as if they were waiting for the sequel to be announced. It is depicted as jumping out of a “hungry bug”.

The “chaotic” worldview, which is both shocking and stylish, interwoven with comical elements, is once again brought to life as an animation.

Comment from the original author, Kyushu Hayashida

I couldn’t be happier to have a continuation of the Dorohedoro anime made! Thank you very much to everyone involved. Production has been progressing for quite some time, and I was looking forward to seeing the progress. It’s been a while since the first season, but I hope you’ll return to the world of Dorohedoro anime again.
