by The decision to produce a sequel to the TV anime ” Tokyo Revengers ” has been announced, and a new critical visual and promotional video has been released.
This information was announced on stage at the”Matsudo Touring” event, held on Sunday, June 16, to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the release of the TV anime Tokyo Revengers and the formation of the series.
The key visual shows Takemichi and Mikey covered in scars, and the PV is packed with famous scenes from the previous season—Takemichi and Mikey’s lines at the end hint at the start of a new revenge.
The event also announced the implementation of a 5th-anniversary project. This commemorates the 5th anniversary of the TV anime’s broadcast in 2025, and the first part will be a live performance of a character image song, “Dachi Live,” to be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Pacifico Yokohama.
In addition, the TV anime Tokyo Revengers Duet EP 01 will be released on Wednesday, October 23. It contains image songs sung by characters in pairs.
A priority application ticket for the live performance of the character image song will be enclosed with “Duet EP 01.” The second and subsequent parts of the 5th-anniversary project will be announced later.
They also announced that a new “Fairy Tale Revengers” project will be launched. The plan is to turn Tokyo Revengers’ version of “fairy tales” into mini-animations, with the first installment scheduled to be ” Momotaro.
