Created in the early 1970s by the creators of “Mobile Suit Gundam” and “Armored Trooper Votoms,” Zero Tester was released in October last year. It is a monumental science fiction anime celebrating its 50th anniversary on air.

Episodes 1 to 39 are being distributed on the Amazon Prime Video channel “Star Channel EX” for the first time in response to the favorable reception of episodes up to episode 39; this work will be released on April 1st (Monday). At the time of the broadcast, “Zero Tester: Protect the Earth! It has been decided that additional distribution of episodes 40 to 66 (the final episode), which has been retitled “”, will be released.

“Zero Tester” was developed by Tohoku Shinsha to create a Japanese version of “Thunderbirds” after the British special effects puppet show “Thunderbirds” (first aired in Japan in 1966) was a big hit in Japan. It is neither a hero nor a robot, and at the time, it appeared as the “third science fiction anime.”

It was created by Crystal Art Studio = Studio Nue, which was led by then-up-and-coming science fiction writer Haruka Takachiho and directed by Ryosuke Takahashi, who received high acclaim for films such as “Armored Trooper Votoms” (1983). Yoshiyuki Tomino (then Yoshiyuki Tomino) of “Mobile Suit Gundam” (1979) and others, and Ittoku Tanahashi of “Space Battleship Yamato 2” (1978) were in charge of storyboarding and directing each episode.

The animation directors for each episode include Kazuo Nakamura of “Mazinger Z” (1972) and Yoshikazu Yasuhiko of “Mobile Suit Gundam” (who also served as storyboard and director). Suzuki of “The Brave Raiden” (1975) wrote the original story. Yoshitake (who is also writing the script under the name Fuyushi Gotake) is in charge.

In addition, the script for each episode was written by Soji Yoshikawa of “Battle Mecha Xabungle,” Haruya Yamazaki of “Cyborg 009” (1979), Yu Yamamoto of “Mobile Suit Gundam,” and later “Mobile Suit Gundam” and “The Super Dimension Fortress Macross.” It was created by Kenichi Matsuzaki, who at the time was a newcomer to Crystal Art Studio (also known as John Dedois), who wrote books such as “Jon Dedois.”

This miraculous work brought together an incredibly talented staff, which is almost impossible to put together in one work with so many people. Akira Kamiya plays the main character, Shin Fubuki, and Tomoharu Takeo (currently Takahiro Nakao ) plays Go Araishi, the number two member of the tester squad. In episodes 1 to 39, the Zero Tester Corps formed to protect Earth from the Armanoid aliens targeting Earth, battles with the first Armanoid commander, Mobius, and the more cunning and violent second commander, Vargis.

It depicts him fighting through a fierce battle. In episode 40, with Vargis also killed in battle, Armanioid dispatches its trump card, the “Seven Garos,” to Earth. Learning of their invasion, the Space Development Center, led by Dr. Tachibana, calls on all citizens of Earth to report information about Garos with the call sign “000” and the battle between Earth and.

Armanoid finally enters its final chapter.
Furthermore, after the 40th episode of “Zero Tester,” the opening theme song video “Zero Tester: Protect the Earth!” is now available! Why not take this opportunity to revisit this work? If you don’t know anything about it back then, why not enjoy the works of famous creators?
