The “Little Citizen Series” is a hugely popular mystery series created by Naoki Prize-winning author Honobu Yonezawa, the author of the Classics Club series including “Hyouka,” which has sold over 1 million copies. Kobato, who once had a bitter experience due to a detective activity he called “wisdom work,” decides to aim to become a pure and modest little citizen.

He secretly forms a “mutually beneficial relationship” with his classmate Osanai, who shares the same aspirations and plans to make his high school debut as a little citizen and live a peaceful life. Still, for some reason, mysterious incidents and disasters keep coming into their school life. This is a youth mystery novel. This famous novel’s long-awaited TV anime adaptation has caused a great stir.

OP and ED artists announced!

The audio can be heard for the first time in the second PV that has been released. The ending theme will be performed by Ammo, a three-piece rock band from Osaka, attracting much attention for their highly praised, literary, novel-like, and creatively rhyming lyrics. Eve Comment
I wrote the opening theme song for the TV anime “Little Man Series.” I’m happy to be able to color the daily lives of these two characters, who spend their peaceful days this summer with music. Please enjoy it with some sweets.

I’m an indoor person, but I once joined a mountain climbing party after being invited by an outdoor friend. I couldn’t refuse my friend’s invitation, so I joined. Looking back now, it was very petty social behavior. But when I went, I had a lot of fun, and after coming back, I was so sore that I couldn’t move for about four days.

I’m Okamoto Yusei, lead singer for the Osaka 3-piece rock band Ammo. Our song “Ikakenai” has been chosen as the ending theme for the “Little Citizen Series”! As this is my first original song and my first tie-up with an anime, I was inspired by a completely different songwriting process. I read the original work thoroughly, imagined the scenes, and wrote the lyrics by repeatedly adjusting them to my own words. The song is a mix of the charm of this work and the colors of Ammo, so I hope you’ll give “Ikakenai” lots of love along with the “Little Citizen Series.”

This is petty. I like to spend money on my appearance, and I often go to a facial correction salon or get my eyebrows and nails done at a men’s salon, but when someone says to me, “Your face is small,” or “Your nails are nice,” I reply, “Well, I don’t do anything.” I don’t want them to think I’m trying hard, and the following conversations (how much? How often?) seem like a hassle.
