This anime is based on the manga of the same name by Vein and Yoda Mizuki, which is currently being serialized in the manga magazine app “Shonen Jump+” (Shueisha). The story begins with Gero Hikaru, a young man from a centuries-old clan of assassins known as “Poison Masters,” who is forced into marriage to keep his bloodline alive. He seeks help from Kinosaki Mei, a marriage scammer.

“Marriage Toxin” Story: “Users” are those who have been honing their killing techniques for hundreds of years. Hikaru Gero, a young man who inherits this bloodline, has lived a life of underground business and has never had any relationships with women, so marriage has always been a distant memory for him.
