by “Best 100 Selected by Everyone” voted by fans in the “Anime of the Year Category” of the international animation film festival “Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2022 (TAAF2022)” (sponsored by the executive committee and the Association of Japanese Animations). The reception started on November 1st. From the 446 works screened and broadcast from October 1, 2020, to September 30, 2021, “100 most beloved works in 2021” will be decided by fan voting. Voting will be accepted until December 2nd on the official website of TAAF2022.
Fans vote for “the best 100 that everyone chooses” based on criteria such as “favorite works,” “good works,” and “works that I would like to recommend to other people.” Fan votes will be further held from the selected “Best 100 Selected by Everyone”, and the “Anime Fan Award” will be given to work with the most votes.
The Anime Fan Awards are the TV anime “Idolish Seven Second BEAT!” In 2020, the theatrical animation “Uta no Prince-sama Maji LOVE Kingdom” in 2019 (Director Jouji Furuta) and “Theatrical version” in 2018. “BANANA FISH” and “Yuri !!! on ICE” won the award in 2017.
TAAF has been held since 2014 to promote anime culture and industry and discover and train new human resources and held in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, from March 11th to 14th, 2022.
