‘Girl-type Weapon Wants to Be a Family’ TV anime adaptation announced, director Yasuhiro Minami and other central staff announced

The social media-based manga Alma-Chan Wants to Become a Family, serialized in Comic Newtype, has been announced as being adapted into a TV anime series. The original author, Nanateru, has also revealed a commemorative illustration.

The central staff has also been announced, including director Yasuhiro Minami, the series composition by Yukie Sugawara, and the character design by Mika Yamamoto. Studio Flood, the studio behind “I Was Kicked Out of the Hero’s Party Because I Wasn’t a True Companion, So I Decided to Live a Slow Life in the Frontier 2nd Season,” will be responsible for animation production.

The series is a home comedy about the firm and cute girl-type weapon Alma-chan and the two genius scientists who created her, Suzume and Enji. The original manga has been published in three volumes, and the sequel “Alma-chan Wants to Become a Family Z” is currently being serialized.
