Konishi will play freelance writer Kamiya Masato, a character appearing in the anime for the first time. Kamiya is said to be the inspiration for Ryo Saeba, the protagonist of “City Hunter,” also based on the original work by Hojo. Hikasa will also play Asatani Mitsuko, an intelligent and cool female detective who is Toshio’s colleague and pursues the phantom thief Cat’s Eye. “Cat’s Eye,” which will be exclusively released on Disney+ Star in September, is a romantic comedy about three beautiful sisters who own the cafe Cat’s Eye and work as phantom thieves by night. Of the three sisters, Komatsu Mikako plays Hitomi, Koshimizu Ami plays Rui, and Hanamori Yumiri plays Ai. Sato Takuya plays Toshio, who pursues the phantom thief Cat’s Eye while developing a romantic relationship with Hitomi.
