It has been announced that FRUITS ZIPPER’s latest song, “Hachamecha Wacha Life!”, will be the new theme song for this series, which has firmly established itself as a “Saturday evening staple,” starting in October. This marks the first time the show’s theme song has changed in five years, since 2020.
FRUITS ZIPPER is a seven-member idol group consisting of Tsukiashi Amane, Chinzei Suzuka, Sakurai Yui, Nakagawa Ruka, Manaka Mana, Matsumoto Karen, and Hayase Noel. Their second digital single, “Watashi no Ichiban Kawaii Tokoro,” released in April 2022, became a huge hit, primarily on TikTok. As of March 2025, the group’s total views on TikTok surpassed an astonishing 3 billion.
The song was released on CD in 2023 and won the Best New Artist Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards. The group is scheduled to hold its first Tokyo Dome concert on February 1, 2026, marking a dream collaboration between this incredibly popular idol group and “Crayon Shin-chan.”
