‘Dandadan’ doesn’t make it into the top 10. ‘Summer Anime Satisfaction Ranking’ is praised for having ‘too many great works’

A “troublesome” summer anime series filled with great works

Filmarks, Japan’s largest review service for movies, dramas, and anime, has released its “Summer 2025 Anime Satisfaction Rankings” based on data from the service. Among the new releases, sequels to popular titles, and numerous hot topics, which ones came out on top?

Looking at the top 10, measured by the number of Clips! by Filmarks users, the results are, from bottom to top, “The Mole Who Was Forbidden,” “My Dress-Up Doll Falls in Love Season 2,” “Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus,” “The Fragrant Flower Blooms Boldly,” “I’m Crazy About You,” “Let’s Go to Karaoke!”, “Takopi’s Original Sin,” “My Melody & Kuromi,” “Lapis Lazuli Jewel,” and “Galaxy Express Milky☆Subway.” Many summer anime titles gradually gain popularity midway through the season. While they didn’t make it into the top 10, titles like “Silent Witch” and “The Summer When the Light Died” received rave reviews.

The rankings feature short episodes, such as “I’m Crazy About You” and “Let’s Go to Karaoke!”, as well as the short-running “Galaxy Express Milky☆Subway.” In particular, “Galaxy Express Milky☆Subway,” which received more than double the number of Mark!
