The Fukuoka venue of the large-scale exhibition “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Exhibition To the Infinite Castle,” which is the first in the anime series to focus on the “pillars,” is being held at the Fukuoka City Museum until June 22, 2025.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is an anime based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge. The manga was published by Shueisha’s Jump Comics in 23 volumes and sold over 150 million copies. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by demons. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human, and throws himself into fighting demons.
The sad story of humans and demons, the terrifying swordplay, the charming characters, and the occasional comical scenes have made it popular. The anime, animated by ufotable, has expanded into a series since the April 2019 “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Tanjiro Kamado’s Unwavering Resolve Arc.”
The “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc,” which depicts the story following the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Pillar Training Arc” that began airing in May 2024, will be produced as a trilogy, with the first chapter being released on July 18, 2025. “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Pillar Exhibition To the Infinity Castle” is the first large-scale exhibition to focus on the “pillars,” the highest-ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps. The strongest sworders connect with the will of the Demon Slayer Corps, who have been fighting against Kibutsuji Muzan for a thousand years.
The exhibition focuses on the charms of the nine “pillars” in various ways, focusing on their personalities and thoughts, and moving towards Mugen Castle with the thoughts of the “pillars.” The Tokyo venue attracted 200,000 people, and the Fukuoka venue has been open since April 24. The final version of the Fukuoka commemorative visual, which was only partially released for this exhibition, has been unveiled.
