The Ventura series will be broadcast nonstop for over 100 hours! From the TV anime to the movie version, OVA, and spin-offs

ABEMA has announced that starting Thursday, May 22nd, they will broadcast over 100 hours of the alternate-world reincarnation fantasy series ” That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ” for free.

“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” (commonly known as “Tensei Slime”) is a popular reincarnation entertainment created by Fuse (the original author) and Taiki Kawakami (the manga artist). The story depicts the protagonist Rimuru, who is reincarnated as a slime in another world, and his friends embarking on an adventure with wisdom and courage.

Since the first season of the TV anime was broadcast in 2018, the unique characters and powerful battle scenes have captured the hearts of anime fans. In 2021, the second season and spin-off anime were released for nine consecutive months.

The movie version of “Crimson Bonds” was released in 2022, and it was a hit with more than 1 million people in Japan. The third season of the TV anime will be broadcast in 2024, and the production of the fourth season and the second movie version has been announced along with the final episode.

This marathon will air all of the series, from seasons 1 to 3 of the TV anime, the three OVAs (OADs), the spin-off “The Slime Diaries,” and the movie “Crimson Bonds,” for free.

The broadcast will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 22nd, and run for about five days until 2 a.m. on Monday, May 26th, on the Anime SPECIAL channel. Additionally, the episodes will be free for three days after the broadcast.
