The work is based on a light novel by Matsuura. The original work is currently being published in nine volumes by Kadokawa Books, and the latest volume, 13, of the comic adaptation was released on September 25, 2025.
Ellen (voiced by Fukagawa Seria), an eight-year-old girl living in the spirit world, is a reincarnated version of a former scientist in modern-day Japan. She possesses the cheat skill of being able to compound substances and alter their structural arrangement at will. Her father, Lovell (voiced by Okitsu Kazuyuki), is a legendary hero who saved the country, and her mother, Origin (voiced by Nakahara Mai), is the primordial mother and queen of spirits.
The family spends their days peacefully in the spirit world, but when Lovell and Ellen visit the human world to train, they become embroiled in a royal conspiracy.
