A recent web domain registration indicates that Tokyo Ghoul anime will be commemorating its tenth anniversary with a new “project”.

Tokyo Ghoul by Sui Ishida, which won people over with its gloomy story, is still one of the best seinen titles from the previous ten years. Fans, however, are hoping for a remake after Studio Pierrot’s anime version was a failure. It appears that their wishes will now hopefully come true.

According to recent reports from Japan, Tokyo Ghoul has launched a website in time for its forthcoming tenth anniversary. The domain name itself is still being worked on, but it alludes to big revelations regarding the franchise’s annual celebration.

Apparently, a lot of changes were made to the Sukuna vs. Mahoraga battle scenario in the final edition. When the fight was originally broadcast in November 2023 as a part of Season 2, it caused controversy. There were rumors that the animators at Studio MAPPA did not have enough time to finish the said episode.

“There are ‘additional cuts,’ and I believe it surpasses what one might imagine,” exclaimed one of the second season’s animators in an attempt to promote the recently revamped Sukuna vs. Mahoraga. This implies that viewers will now be able to enjoy the exciting battle between the two giants with improved audio and pictures.

Blu-ray Volumes 4 and 5 of Shibuya Arc are currently available for purchase both digitally and in physical form. In addition, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episodes 17 through 20 will be shown in Japanese theaters for a week beginning on March 29 to celebrate the release.
