by To celebrate “Haikyu!! Day” on August 19, the new future TV “ABEMA” will broadcast the entire “Haikyu!!” anime series for free for four days, starting on August 19. The whole TV anime series, OADs, OVAs, and even puppet animation will be broadcast.
All episodes of the “Haikyu!!” series will be streamed for free! “Haikyu!!” is an anime based on the hugely popular manga by Haruichi Furudate, which has sold over 60 million copies. Set in the world of high school volleyball, the story follows the growth of the Karasuno High School boys’ volleyball team members, including the main characters, Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama.
Since its first TV anime adaptation in 2014, the passionate youth story that realistically depicts the characters’ efforts and struggles, the realistic match scenes, and the impassioned performances of the luxurious voice actors have been a hot topic of conversation.
The TV anime series has been expanded to four seasons and has become a huge hit. A movie compilation is also being produced. The sequel, “Haikyu!! The Movie: Battle at the Dump,” was released in February this year and became a mega-hit, grossing over 20 billion yen worldwide.
The free marathon broadcast of the “Haikyu!!” series will be held for four days from August 19 to 22nd, commemorating “Haikyu!! Day” on August 19. All episodes of the “Haikyu!!” TV anime series, including all 85 episodes, OADs, OVAs, and even the “puppet anime “Haikyu!!”, will be broadcast free of charge on the “Anime SPECIAL Channel.” In addition, all episodes of these works will be free for one week from midnight on August 19.
