The synopsis and preview cuts from episode 14 “Evil Eyes” of the second season of the summer anime “Dandadan,” which will begin airing on Thursday, July 10, 2025, have been released.

“Dandadan” is an occult battle and youth story based on the manga by Tatsuyuki Shin, which is currently serialized on Shueisha’s manga magazine app, “Shonen Jump +,” and has a total circulation of over 10 million copies. Momo, a high school girl born into a family of spiritualists, and her classmate Okarun, an occult maniac, encounter an overwhelming supernatural phenomenon that transcends comprehension, and use the power of a curse to challenge the paranormal phenomena that approach them, while also becoming embroiled in a fateful love.

The TV anime, starring Shion Wakayama as Momo, Ayase Momo, and Natsuki Hanae as Okarun, Takakura Ken, aired its first season from October to December 2024 and was very popular. Abel Gongora will direct the second season alongside Fuuga Yamashiro, and animation production will continue to be handled by Science SARU.

Episode 14 “Evil Eye” Synopsis: It turns out that for 200 years, the Kito family has been making offerings to the Mongolian Death Worm, also known as the Great Serpent, and Jiji’s house was built on the altar. Jiji tries to stop Momo and Okarun, who are being controlled by telepathic waves, from committing suicide by picking them up and running away, but the Mongolian Death Worm is right in front of him. Just when it seems like there’s no hope, the evil eye appears.

The 14th episode of the second season of the summer anime “Dandadan,” “Evil Eye,” will be broadcast simultaneously nationwide on the “Super Animeism TURBO” slot on 28 MBS/TBS affiliated stations from 12:26 a.m. on Thursday, July 10.
